Multiple Benefits of Rehabilitation in a Patient with Heart and Renal Failure

چکیده

A insuficiência cardíaca está associada à elevada mortalidade e à capacidade de exercício significativamente reduzida em muitos casos, apesar do tratamento médico. Os pacientes podem apresentar, também, insuficiência renal, uma das comorbidades mais importantes, o que contribui ainda mais para um mau prognóstico, especialmente em pacientes que já estão realizando sessões de diálise1. A redução da função renal ocorre em aproximadamente 25% dos pacientes com insuficiência cardíaca crônica, independentemente da gravidade da disfunção ventricular esquerda1.
